What is Avatar?
Avatar is a course based on the truth that one’s beliefs cause a person to create or attract situations and events which he or she then experiences. The purpose of the course is to guide a person into the exploration of his or her belief systems and to teach techniques to modify those things they want to change and build those things they find helpful.
Avatar is neither a new nor a “New Age” philosophy. It stands in a class by itself in that it enables individuals to challenge the limits of their own thinking and re-discover their ability to create without sabotage. A company’s greatest resource is its people. Their ability to think in new ways is crucial to a company’s continued growth. In today’s rapidly changing and competitive market, staying on the leading edge is critical. Avatar is a stone to sharpen that edge.
Introductory Training
Organizations may receive an initial three-hour onsite training delivered by a licensed Avatar Master for staff and management at no charge. Call for details.
Course Description
The training is divided into three sections. Section I is called “ReSurfacing®” and focuses on developing the whole person through an experiential based workshop that explores the underlying structure of human interaction, behavior and performance . . . beliefs. By managing beliefs, the individual can overcome personal limitations that impede the flow in business operations. This innovative, hands-on approach creates happier, more adaptable and more efficient people who integrate their skills into their work and empower the organization by being more effective employees and managers.
This training is excellent for all employees regardless of experience or job description.
During Section II the participant acquires a repertoire of hands-on-exercises that teaches the individual to identify and remove barriers to success and create experiences they prefer. Participants access a blueprint of how they currently define themselves both personally and professionally and based on this insight, self-manage limiting beliefs that impeded performance in the workplace. Stress is reduced and productivity increased by shifting viewpoints, redirecting attention to the intended goal and enhancing the ability to improvise and adapt to change through a strengthened sense of self and mission.
Having clearly experienced their creative abilities, participants learn in Section III the techniques to address faulty beliefs and sabotaging patterns, compulsions and behaviors. They then apply these skills as they identify and let go of “costumes” worn that limit themselves and others. They gain a new experience of what service is and shift attention from personal agendas to win-win scenarios for the organization and its clients.

Course History and Expansion
Avatar was developed in 1986 by Harry Palmer, a teacher. The Avatar course has been delivered to more than 75,000 people in 67 different countries worldwide with great success. It has been translated into 20 languages. The trainers are Avatar Masters licensed by Star’s Edge International® and are skilled in one-to-one and group facilitation.
